  • No. Members can keep using WhatsApp to send proof of payment to the Blockvel channel — or you can forward their POPs yourself using your registered number. Blockvel reads and matches them automatically.

  • Never. Your members keep paying into the same bank account your stokvel already uses. Blockvel only reads your statements to track payments, balances, and payouts — nothing more.

  • We support all major South African banks, including Capitec, Absa, TymeBank, and more to come. If we don’t yet support your bank, fill out the form in the Contact Us section so we can work with you to bring it in.

  • We handle the admin for you — automatically matching contributions with complete proof of payments. This allows us to flag missed payments, and keep balances up to date. You just upload your bank statement each month, review the results and focus on members falling behind.

  • Yes. Your bank statements are encrypted and processed securely. We never move or store your money, and your information is protected under strict privacy controls.
